Trusting stories

Trust is what we build connections and relationships on, some we trust instinctively, others we have to find ways to build it. Stories help.

Telling stories of the past, sharing stories of the now, creating stories of the future.

I’ve written stories on and off since I was a child, I’ve been a consistently avid reader almost all my life (those first years when I couldn’t read yet – total waste 🙂 ). I know the value of a good story, the way an author can take you on a journey which explores other people’s experiences, helping you understand and empathise with a character, feel revulsion at another. Some characters I’ve encountered over the years have become almost real to me. All due to the words shared on a page.

I would like to explore this, I know the meanings words can convey, the power they hold.

Words can be doves or bullets, choose wisely.
